Process

Underground Performance runs through a rigorous process for each customer experience. We assess each vehicle for health with a stock run for data acquisition, re-calibrate, run again and adjust until the safe maximum power level is achieved.

We make power in a linear and smooth fashion to the redline rather than just low end theatrics. Expect great throttle response, flexibility and enjoyment throughout the rev-range with continued reliable function.

We will tune most modern European vehicles with a Bosch or Siemens Continental ECUs as well as transmissions. Best are results are observed on turbocharged vehicles on premium 98 petrol or E85 ethanol where the fuel system supports it.

Our Dyno

We are lucky enough to have our own Dyno Dynamics Dynotech AWD chassis dyno on site contained in a purpose-built dyno cell with airflow and fume extraction control. This is constructed with materials to help manage temperate and sound levels.

With thousands of cars tuned to date on this dyno, it is recognised as being one of the more accurate and repeatable examples in the country. We service and maintain it regularly with a bi-annual calibration check.

We strap every vehicle safely and securely with common settings for specific vehicle types to ensure power comparisons are accurate.
